Netter Ort um sich auf eine Bank zu setzen, einen Hot Dog zu essen und dabei Touristen beobachten. Nebenher noch bei der H.C. Andersen Statue vorbei schauen.

If you come here to celebrate New Year's Eve then bring protective eye wear, and it's a good idea to wear clothes it's ok to burn holes in. Some rockets and such end up among the spectators.

Copenhagen's former hay market when the town hall was at Gammeltorv/Nytorv. The western end of Strøget starts here. Lots of bus routes intersect here, and most night buses start from here.

The Free Walking tours leave from the steps every day at 11 am. A three hour tour and good fun.
