Been there a few times over the years. Plenty of shops and eating places. Very easy to get to by bus which stop outside the centre.

Pretty authoritative collection of whiskys. Not a big as the 489 they peaked at (http://thepotstill.co.uk/collection.htm)but they're trying to get back there. Quite a place!
Love mussels? Then you must visit this. Best value seafood restaurant in Glasgow. Definitely go for the kilo pot mussels. Blue cheese with bacon is brilliant.

The gorgeous hilly grounds make the perfect place for a picnic lunch. There are also organised walks and concerts in summer -- have a look at the noticeboard near the entrance to see what’s on.

Sunday brunch here is absolutely incredible. 12:95 for three courses of absolutely top notch food. Great the rest of the time too, just watch the wine prices.
Nice hotel. Expensive bar (just go to 'Spoons across the road) and has the most pointlessly overly complex lifts. Why?
