Coming from Germany I can attest that Paulaner serves the most authentic and delicious German cuisine I had so far in NYC. The excellent beer speaks for itself.

Classic Oktoberfest food, including delectable desserts and, of course, beer. The concept of “tank to table” is taken to heart here as the place also functions as a brewery for their in-house beer. Mehr erfahren

Pork Knuckle, Bierschapps, cucumber salad, the pretzels were amazing, potato salad, Wiener schnitzel. I wanted to run into the kitchen to hug my great grandmother for the great meal she cooked!

Very cute atmosphere and friendly people. Food was pretty good (the pretzel was great!) and all the beers are brewed in house. Different than what you'll get bottled as its a different recipe!

The Bitches say: B. German brauhaus food isn’t exactly ‘Bitchy,’ but most of the dishes were tasty. If not for brunch, definitely check out Paulaner for great happy hour specials or to watch a game. Mehr erfahren

Oktoberfest food every day of the year. They brew their beers in house and I'd go for the hefeweizen or Schwartzbier. The kölsch is good but not as good as the ones actually from Koln.

This German spot is the first brewpub to open in Manhattan in over two years. The big space will pack in crowds, but it's beer poured fresh from serving tanks that'll keep beer lovers coming back.

This is going to be a successful bar in NYC. Brew their own beer and their fermenting tanks add to the atmosphere! And it's pretty good beer too.

The German beer titans first brewpub in the US, all 3 beers are brewed on the premises. Hefeweizen, Munich lager & Munich dark.

The back area is a good refuge to watch some sports on TV as the Bowery becomes more like 57th Street.

Former spot of Sammy's Bowery Follies, a divey cabaret spot in the 40's and 50's where ex-Vaudeville performers sang and danced for the crowds on sawdust-sprinkled floors. Mehr erfahren

A fusion of German tradition with a modern day twist in both food and atmosphere. Highly recommend the Bavarian burger. Best French fries in Manhattan so far

This place is legit: the original brewery operation in Germany has been run by Bavarian monks for 375 years, and this location has six special beers to call its own

The Bratwurst Burger is decent enough, with a big pretzel bun and a solid sausage patty, but there are tastier things on the menu, like the spätzle. Mehr erfahren

Get the beer flight! It's the best way to get to know what beers are currently available. Then if you like one enough, order a full pint.

🍺 and ⚽️ with 3 open viewing areas: at the bar, in a corner niche with tables, and at a long communal table. Toilets for Bayern fans only.

If you like amber ales, order the Munich dark. It's only dark in color; tastes like a caramelly amber. Order the spaetzle with mushrooms. Comfort food for a cold night

The Bartender was a total bitch. Rude and slow and we ordered a pretzel on a quiet Sunday afternoon and it took 20 minutes and then was hard and overcooked. The cheese "dip" was really weird too.
