Lloyd GJuly 28, 2013A bit expensive for the area, but good food, and a great selection of beer. They also use local shops for their food and beverage. Nice atmosphere, good music, definitely worth the visit!

Oliver's is a stand out Astoria bar. it's ambiance is the casual, yet still feels like a special outing. The food is delicious, especially the truffle fries. IMHO it's a perfect bar.
Excellent draft beer selection - the Anchor holiday ale was awesome. Spicy black bean burger was cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. Next time I want to try the organic scotch egg.

Portions tend to be small and the food over-priced. Better off sticking to the drinks and some fries. Great bar but they neglect to do buybacks even after 5 drinks.
The service is superb, food is tasty and the beer flows unabatedly.
