- Discover OhioDezember 14, 2012Lincoln visited here 3 times. In 1859, he spoke from the east steps. In 1861, he visited Governor William Dennison & found out he won the 1860 election and lastly in 1865 after he was assassinated.
- AllizonJanuar 29, 2011Don't be intimidated! The statehouse is open to all public, seven days a week. Since its renovation, it is a place marvelous to visit.

- HISTORYAugust 4, 2010This building was built at the start of the Civil War, approximately around 1861. The statehouse took a total of 22 years to be built and in 1996 was restored to its original brilliance.
