This is a really nice museum down in th Seaport. It's not the biggest, but for $5 it's worth every penny if you're down there. I'm happy that it has re-opened, the space by itself is worth it.
Go to the 5th floor and check the awesome photography exhibit on Occupy Wall St.

The ferry is free, departing on the hour on Fridays and on half hour and hour on Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays. Bikes are permitted; personal autos are not.
Even though it's not baked on site, get the namesake Financier cake. Shaped like a bar of gold but is delicious.
Watch out for presents on the basketball court, in the morning it's an illegal dog run.
