This is one of my favorite museums in the world, and I have been in a lot of museums around Brazil, USA and Europe. Try the near Starbucks at the park, they have a gorgeous environment for a coffee!

Schon mehr als 25 Mal hier gewesen
Este es el museo más visitado de México. Y se necesita tiempo para ver el gran pasado prehispánico y la mezcla de culturas tras la conquista, así como las coincidencias con pueblos originarios.

Must. But start With the mayas which is the most important part in the museum, I recommend this because the museum is huge and you don't want to miss the best of it/

Wow !! Wow!! Me encanta la majestuosidad de este museo .... Además de que es gratis, bueno si eres estudiante adulto mayor y blabla ... En fin. No pueden no visitarlo.

One of the best museums I've visited ever! Each section contains info that ties in to history from all parts of Mexico. Start with the North, then Central & so on. Make it a several day excursion.

Hay que ir con tiempo y actitud ya que hay demasiadas cosas por ver, es un museo muy interesante, definitivamente es recomendable visitarlo. Hay que respetar que es público y cuidar las exposiciones.

If you only visit one museum while in Mexico, make sure it is this one. Amazing exhibits, but be sure to set an entire day aside if you want to enjoy it fully.

O museu mais importante de todo o México, um dos melhores do mundo. Obrigatório pra quem vem visitar a cidade. Didático, rico... Fotos sem flash, bolsas no guarda volumes, boa loja de souvenir.

Grandisimo, lleva zapatos cómodos y tiempo si quieres conocer realmente. Las maquetas de la introducción a antropología son increíbles. Aprovecha y visita las salas con exposición disponibles

Incredible. I don't usually rush for anthropology museums, but this is so well done. It's emotional to see the arc of human history so thoroughly presented. And the building is awesome in its impact.

The space is super cool, but it’s too big to see all at once. You can see the whole first floor in two rushed hours if you don’t care to read all the signage

Magnificent museum. Should not be missed & you will need at least four hours to see all. Get the audio tour guide to maximize the visit. Fascinating stuff.

New & improved. The architecture and lighting alone are worth the visit, but the overall story of pre-Colombian Mexican history is difficult to comprehend in context. Better time maps would help

An excellent and really huge museum with lots of ancient sculptures from all over the country. There are always excellent temporary exhibits, so you can visit again and again. Go, you won't regret it.

There's a lovely outdoor cafe hidden down the stairs to the left as you enter the main central area. Great quiet place to drink and recharge.

Go directly to the central hall for the Impressive Aztec exhibit. There is no way you will be able to do the entire museum in one day.

Es uno de los más bonitos y más impresionantes museos de la ciudad, imperdible. Cada cierto tiempo es necesario venir a mostrar respetos a los dioses prehispánicos, este es el lugar.

Most of the large placards have English, not the smaller artefact ones. Beautifully modern and laid out. Loved the hybrid indoor/outdoor layout. A true anthropological tour through Mexico's history.

The museum is huge! And now my favorite museum I've ever visited! Definitely requires at least half a day, if not the whole day if you really want to see and read everything.

La sala de los mexicas es lo que más me encantó del museo. En general todas las salas son increíbles!!! Ve los domingos ya que ese día es gratis con identificación.

De verdad es un museo excepcional. Se requiere buena parte del día para recorrer todas sus salas con calma, pero de verdad vale la pena. La entrada es gratuita con credencial de estudiante.

Un museo increíble y es sorprendente todo el trabajo de investigación y recolección que han hecho alrededor de las comunidades indígenas. Toma su tiempo recorrerlo pero vale la pena.

Increíble arquitectura por parte de Pedro Ramírez Vázquez, el penacho de Moctezuma es una excelente réplica, la museografia es perfecta. Le falta al restaurante más producción porque podría estar cool

Simplemente maravilloso. Es obligatorio de visitar si estás en la CDMX. Los domingos no cobran y durante las tardes-noches de los mismos suele estar menos lleno (sobre todo en periodo vacacional).

Não deixem de ir visitar a sala dos Aztecas, dos Mayas e dos Teotihuacan. Esta última é ainda melhor do que o próprio museu ao lado da pirâmide em Teotihuacan.

De los museos más importantes de México, que no le piden nada a los Londres o NY, utiliza tarjeta de estudiante o llega muy temprano se llena a las 12. Para disfrutar el museo requieres todo un día.

A complete tour in this museum takes a bit more than three hours. So, the best thing to do is to visit the Mayan and Aztec halls, which are the most representative. Visit the souvenir shop.
