Matthew Caldecutt: Get a poke bowel. I like tuna and salmon with a heaping of rice, crispy onions, seaweed, and more. Get a strawberrry Calpico to wash it down.
Matthew Caldecutt: It's relatively empty during off-peak hours so it's a great place to power up devices (they have chargers) and get some work done -- if you have a ticket.

Matthew Caldecutt: After five years of trips to Portland, I finally made it. Start with oysters. Get a dozen -- two of each different type from Maine. Have a lobster stew. Continue with a lobster roll.
Matthew Caldecutt: The pot is great and they can make it as spicy as you want. If you go for the weakest, it still builds to a burn. Get a soup to counter that. Great addition to the area. Will be back.
Matthew Caldecutt: Should have taken more photos, but everything was great ... except the cocktails. Excellent steak and sides with a big enough dessert for three to share.

Matthew Caldecutt: There's so much here -- golf, pools, boat rides, and food -- that it's hard to know what to tell you about. If you have to pick a resort here, you can't go wrong with this one
Matthew Caldecutt: I have always wanted to see the best Techno Gym equipment on the market and they have it here. Go early -- 5:30 or 6 AM -- before more travelers trickle in

Matthew Caldecutt: The Our Burger is great if you're starving after an early flight. The kitchen staff is the friendliest -- they apologized that breakfast had just ended when I visited.
Matthew Caldecutt: The focus here is on keeping what you have as opposed to overdoing it with crowns. The team there is very friendly and the dentists pay close attention to possible problems.

Matthew Caldecutt: It's really popular and the pastries go quickly so they are very fresh. My go to is anything cream filled. The coffee is piping hot. More seating is needed.

Matthew Caldecutt: When they're in season, I love the lobster rolls. The shareables are great if you like to try a lot at once with a group. They need some pre-built burger options.

Matthew Caldecutt: It's a grocery store with a diner-like seating area. Order at the counter; food is brought to the table. Delicious all-day breakfast menu includes biscuits with sausage gravy and hash browns.
Matthew Caldecutt: There are a number of local businesses to visit here -- from a take-out seafood place to a diner with a gallery, movie theater, and more. Be sure to shop local!
Matthew Caldecutt: Mass on Christmas Eve is a tad on the early side, but it's packed. Arrive on the early side. Top notch choir that I hope to hear again soon.

Matthew Caldecutt: French, tapas, a steakhouse and more all right behind security. Meals are quickly prepared and tasty. The line at Starbucks is often long.
Matthew Caldecutt: This used to be Campfire Grille and now, it has no dance floor, one less wall, and many pizzas on the menu. I like to make my own, but I almost went with a steak one. Live music is new and fun too.
Matthew Caldecutt: Yes, there are groceries, but in U F O (next door), there's a great selection of liquor and beer -- craft beers from Maine, geeky wines, and more. Ice cream in the back during the summer.

Matthew Caldecutt: It’s weird eating a steak with a plastic knife, but it’s worth it. The ribeye cooked medium with butter was great. I wish we had another 20 minutes for dessert.

Matthew Caldecutt: Craft beers, baked clams, and enormous lobster rolls are just some of my favorites. Don't forget to spring for the bread before the food arrives. It's worth it.
Matthew Caldecutt: This used to be where up and coming tennis greats stayed before playing the Open at Forest Hills Stadium. You can see into the lobby, but it’s a co-op now.
