Cleanhotel w/ hip decor and a gracious staff. We had several problems with the heat, water, etc. For the price and location, though, it was overall a great deal and we would return
Nice boutique hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, attentive Nd professional staff. Rooms are typical NYC size - small as compared to other cities. I enjoyed my stay..
Yes NYC sized rooms. I had a window facing inside and it was quiet. Beds very comfy. Clean. The person complaining about the heat must not have known to put her key in to turn on the aircon!
Inexpensive price, clean room, a little small but what do you expect for such a bargain? The only problem I had was that the water kept turning hot and then cold continuously. Would stay here again!
Small hotel but quite new and ideal for short stays if you are alone in the city. Small rooms but good service, 2 bottle of water a day and generally clean
There is a secret lounge downstairs here behind the elevators. It's really nice and unknown - very chic. They have these VIP tables tucked away In the back that are very.....private.
If you pay for the wifi, you can only connect 1 device with that password. If you point this out to reception you can get complimentary access for your whole stay.
Nice place. Don't know why it gets so much heat. Service and cleanliness is good. Rooms are tiny, but does that really matter unless you plan on spending your entire trip/vacation indoors?
Enjoy Music, Cocktails, Lounging & Dancing. FRIDAYS @ POLAR in Hotel Marcel. 24thSt & 3ave. Randolph's List for No Cover / No Hassle. 11p-3a. Hope to see you there!
Don't try to check in early. Here on business, hotel seemed dead. Wouldn't check us in. They could use a reminder they are in the hospitality business.
Make sure u coordinate reservations and double check cc info. Reservations and The front desk don't communicate. It's a mess. Juan the manager at the front desk is their saving grace!!
Wow. This is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever experienced in my 25 years of global travel. Dont waste your money by staying here. I'd rather spend the same amount of $ for a worse hotel!
Awful experience here so far. I'm 4 hours into my stay, on my 2nd room. Finally have a heater but lost precious square footage. And there wasn't much to lose.
Our perfect location in historic Gramercy Park is walking distance to the East Village, Fifth Avenue Shopping,The Empire State Building, Soho and more.
