Happy hour 2 for 1 with some dollar oysters, this speakeasy is definitely the best one in UWS. Get the Old Fashioned.

Best cocktail bar on the UWS by a wide margin. Members get first crack at seating so imbibing here usually involves a wait, but you can always relax at the downstairs bar with a draft Old Fashioned 🥃

Very good cocktails for the UWS. not sure they are totally worth the $16 price tag but for the only cocktail bar in the area, I would go for it. If you can't get in, Johnny downstairs is great!

By far the best cocktails in UWS. Love their tequila based concoctions but you cannot go wrong here. Friendly staff!

Dress appropriately, sit in the main room upstairs and enjoy a classic cocktail. This place is a gem on the UWS. It's how one should enjoy a cocktail with his/her best companions.

Upscale cocktails in an over the top baroque style lounge. Bar Manager Greg Seider mixes up innovative culinary-inspired drinks with infusions, flavored mists & more. Great for impressing a date.

Came here by myself to chill, write, have a quick drink..ended up staying for three! Cory (or Cody??!) was fantastic behind the bar; made me 2 custom mezcal cocktails. Perfect. Baroque ambience. Come!

Sure the drinks are pricey, but the atmosphere is worth it. There are two comfy armchairs way up by the bar near the French doors. Perfect spot for a date where you can talk.

A gold-brocaded library with a black tufted-leather sofa perch therein. There will be Boulevardiers, seafood towers and a large cricket paddle. Which, maybe they’ll sell you for later.

Tucked away inside Burke & Wills restaurant, it's the perfect place for fancy cocktails before heading over to the 72st AMC for an IMAX 3D. The cricket themed decor is...interesting.

Try the 12th Man. The bartender has very good inspirations. Today’s is a twist of a caipirinha with red pepper!!! Beautiful location also!

Try the "cheese plate with dulce de leche". Great atmosphere, not loud and cozy! Best speakeasy in the UWS, definitely a must!

A deliciously sexy new addition to the UWS. Go into Burke & Wills and head toward the back. You'll see a padded black door on the right side. The expert drinks and sensual atmosphere await upstairs...

Nice place, but they need to work on their cocktail list...no sazerac, no stingers... Classic speak easy, but missing some of the classic cocktails.. The "I'll have another" is very good though.

It is a bit more expensive than I'd like, but the cocktails are perfectly made and the atmosphere is great. Not typical UWS.

A huge disappointment for an establishment that could have been great. Overpriced and under mixed cocktails that are way too sweet and off balance. Couldn't make any classics requested.
