- J CrowleyJuly 21, 2014Affordable lunch spot. Hobo noodles are nice and spicy. Don't upgrade to the lunch special cause the dumplings taste like they're from the dump. Order ginger fried chicken strips as an app instead.Sep 8 positiv bewertet
- Elevine BergeOktober 22, 2014Matcha! Fresh and flavoursome Thai in lovely more French style atmosphere on one of my favourite streets. Try the seaweed salad, miso soup, and don't miss out on the bar downstairs either!
- Kayleigh HarringtonFebruar 16, 2017You can't go wrong with the spicy green curry or pad Thai. Here for dinner? Check out the bar downstairs.
- Very decent Thai food for very decent prices. And cute enough to use as a date spot but casual enough to stop in for a rushed lunch special. All around solid.
- Noah NormanAugust 24, 2016Lovely Day been here as long as I've lived in NYC, and while I'd be hard-pressed to find another example anywhere in the world, this is a white and Mexican-run kitchen that makes decent Thai food.
- Danielle BrizelOktober 3, 2016This place has a very old school vibe. The prices are very reasonable for this area. Love the crispy ginger chicken bites, seared salmon with orange sauce, and the noodle dishes. Cash and Amex ONLY!
- Elevine BergeFebruar 2, 2015Always lovely. Almond milk macha tea a tad but too sweet but nice. The Tom Ga coconut milk soup w shiitake and tofu is perfect warming and spicy for these cold days when you feel the flu luring.
- Anechka M.März 28, 2017Breakfast variety is amazing - best hollandaise that you could wish to have with your poached eggs. No queues, great service, I'm coming back for sure
- Rob MacfarlaneOktober 5, 2018I’m a coffee fiend. I had Americanos at a few highly-rates places in SoHo, but this was the best. The egg sandwich is also terrific. Especially with the Irish sausage.
- Michael G.Februar 23, 2020Inexpensive and delicious Thai food. Order the long beans and papaya salad to start. Usually a wait on weekends but put your name down and go get a drink somewhere.
- really great, rarely crowded, reasonable lunch spot in soho. I definitely recommend the pineapple fried rice, but, honestly, everything is quite good.
- HolidayOktober 26, 2016Skip the British breakfast, you can do that with eyes closed at home. It's all about Thai food here. Love the original wooden 1930s counter. Get a lunch set, cheap and fresh!
- Elsa HJuly 12, 2017Thai style spare ribs were good! Cozy little spot. There is a downstairs with more seating if full upstairs... which it generally is. Definitely retro, well decorated vibes.
- Alex EliasOktober 27, 2017This place is so good and cheap! The long beans with garlic sauce is amazing. Get the spicy green curry too!
- Nicole FormicaMai 28, 2017Take advantage of their great lunch special. A noodle dish of your choice, edamame and dumplings! Only accepts American Express credit cards.
- Daniel ConnersAugust 12, 2014Good music. Fantastic fusion- foods for surprisingly not a lot of $$$$. From cappuccino*s to bloodymarys and breakfast!!! Dee-lish!
- Nieki EsmailiJanuar 9, 2020the pad thai and the ginger chicken were amazing! (note that the pad thai is a bit spicy for those who are sensitive) the vegetable dumplings were not flavorful , I’d pass on those.
- Berk KapiciogluDezember 10, 2014An incredibly cozy restaurant with a ton of character. Get the hobo noodle with shrimp! This place has great service as well. One of my favorites.
- J CrowleyAugust 1, 2014Stop what you're doing! If they have the pork rib and fried egg sandwich lunch special - get it right now. Even if you already ate - EAT AGAIN!
- The burger is so amazing but it's giant! Cut in half but don't forget to put ketchup on the bottom of the bun. Have a glass of the Cotes du Rhone, it's delightful.
- Joanne LeongApril 1, 2017Food is okay, but love the vibe and how chill this place is. Prices are reasonable and hardly ever a wait. Go downstairs and grab a drink and some ginger fried chicken.
- Alex RobertsonFebruar 19, 2017very reasonably priced thai food and breakfast--my noodles weren't too oily/saucy/flavorful, which is unfortunately how I like them, but the space is too cute!
- Vineet ShahJuly 26, 2014Yes the food here is delicious but the lunch special is delicious AND great value. Pad Thai (or any noodles), steamed dumplings, and edamame for under $11.
- Ettedanreb GottliebJuly 8, 2013It's great for brunch: You have to try the pancakes with strawberries or bananas, scrumbled eggs with salmon plus salad and the great salmon sandwich with avocado!
- CarolineJuly 20, 2019eclectic menu featuring Thai, Japanese, and European eats, with furniture — a marble-topped oak bar and red leatherette booths — that seem ripped from a restaurant 70 years older.
- DensFebruar 18, 2014Wow, this place is great. You're cheating yourself if you leave without trying the fried chicken & edamame dip apps. Not a bad old fashioned either.
- Abigail KofflerNovember 24, 2018Start with the papaya salad, so refreshing. Good cocktails too, just bring cash or an Amex.
- Ashley KaufmanAugust 20, 2013Definitely get ginger fried chicken and chicken satay. Green curry is amazing and hobo noodles spicy and delicious. Really great Foursquare find! Def at least a 9!
- Alberto SimonFebruar 5, 2016Awesome environment with nice music and interior design. Super tasty food too!
- Ruby AnayaAugust 1, 2016Don't make the same mistakes I did. I was craving meat so I got the flank steak. Even with the tamarind sauce it was flavorless. The coconut curry soup was great. The service wait was not great.
- Jeffrey GlueckJuly 13, 2015Julienne salad with sweet chili, bok choy with ginger, fried chicken small plates make for a good lunch
- Edamame dip was awesome. Seared tuna with wasabi guac was ⭐⭐⭐⭐. Head downstairs to the bar where they serve the full menu with no wait!
- Go downstairs after 7 but before 9 (that's when it gets crowded). Sit at the bar and listen to Ella Fitzgerald. You'll feel transported to another time.
- Lili BazAugust 21, 2019Cute and cozy place. Definitely recommend the Papaya Salad, Red Curry and Pad Thai! Reasonably price. Cash only
- CharlottesJanuar 14, 2017Adorable cozy vibes with cheap and cheerful Thai food. I echo other reviewers re the deliciousness of the ginger chicken.
- CITY GRITAugust 3, 2014This is one of or favorite lunch spots. We love the Lovely Day Salad, Ginger Fried Chicken, & the Long Beans!

- Jaime ScatenaJuni 3, 2013Cozy little cafe with great choices of fusion Asian food. Must try the Fried Ginger chicken (lunch set for less than $10)
- Beer margarita is delicious! Lime juice, ice, salted rim glass and a beer of your choosing.
- Nina CFebruar 22, 2013Always amazing. Also sweet lunch deal $10 for any noodle dish, veggie dumplings, eda
- LorenSeptember 23, 2014Wow...what a hidden gem. Affordable, hip place with space for five Saturday night in Nolita? What is this, 2005?
- Bond StreetOktober 7, 2016"Lovely Day is home for me in a lot of ways." - Colin Tunstall and Morgan Collett, co-founders - Saturdays Mehr erfahren
- Claudio SantoriJuly 20, 2018Pad Thai, red curry, papaya salad, ginger chicken. Not pricy and very delicious.
- Sarah SoutherlandNovember 20, 2016Charming ambience, cozy (bar was crowded on a Tues night, booth was tight for 4 people). Food: not the best (pineapple fried rice was bland, ginger fired chicken dry), but hard to beat those prices
