Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)July 10, 2014Avoid busy times -- Departures from 4:00 am - 11:00 am, esp. T1 and T5, are particularly busy.
TSA not only feels you up they complement you on your tits. Niicce
Park at the park near in and out on sepulveda until whoever you're picking up lands and is waiting....driving around lax terminals is not fun
Erin BJuni 24, 2011If you're in terminal 3 & the security line blows, they have an "additional" security screening line downstairs that's MUCH faster!
The delta terminal is really nice. Bummer you have to fly delta in order to use it.
If AA bag check lines are long, go to curb side bag checking. Always faster! Don't forget to tip them
Terminal 6 Alaska seems very easy at the moment. More efficient bag check which is nice.
Always prefer Burbank if your destination is in LA.
EddieMärz 21, 2012LAX TSA is going to randomly put you thru the XRay machine. If you opt out theyre going to pat you down. Plan accordingly.
It was very crowded and the lines for security were ridiculously long.
Kelley ChristensenApril 16, 2013Leave plenty of time for connecting flights especially domestic to international! Absolutely the most confusing and bizarre airport I've ever encountered.
Have a friendly chat with the tsa agent if you get checked. They're people too, and can make the experience a whole lot better.
If you're dropping off luggage curb-side, tip to guarantee your luggage arrives along with you. Depending on the urgency, $2-$5 per bag
Kristin KramssDezember 26, 2011Watch out if TSA checks your bag. They throw everything into a pile and when you tell them to repack the bag they continuously ask "ma'am are you sure you want me to repack your bag" so lazy...
Place is always busy but they have a Delta Sky Club so I'm happy

Delta Airlines has been a dependable carrier. In the years I've flown I've not had a single bag lost and have experienced few delays. Fly like the pros, fly Delta.
If you're picking someone up DRIVE SLOW - this airport gives out tickets like candy! That's not a souvenir you want.
Don't go through the xray body scanner unless you want strangers to see your nono's. Eeeek!
Families: Never ever ever park. Get car service. We use Execucar. Get yourselves a big SUV. #worthit
