Liza P: Coupa is an institution in Palo Alto! The coffee is ok at best, but a very good space to work or meet for a chat.

Liza P: Great art and tech performance space! Reliably interesting shows and great events!

Liza P: Still one of my favorite places for a pedicure! The massage is great, and pedicures are very thorough.

Liza P: Excellent brewery! Get the Pils and a bockwurst, eat it at the bar.

Liza P: The best view of the city, and the perfect place for a weekend picnic or an evening meditation.

Liza P: Good coffee, excellent caramel and toasted hazelnut cheesecake!

Liza P: Cool secret bar! The drinks are VERY STRONG, be careful!

Liza P: Huge, delicious burgers! Get the bacon and Stilton, medium rare, with ,5L of beer.

Liza P: I love Mones, the owner of Oasis. She does amazing microdermabrasions and understands my sensitive skin. Also the skincare products she sells are great - my favorite!

Liza P: Nice cafe near gates A13/15 in FRA. Pretty good coffee, tasty sandwiches, fresh pressed juices and even KOMBUCHA!

Liza P: Nepenthe has incredible views and fantastic architecture with thick wooden beams. The food is ok. Come for the Ocean, TRIPLE BERRY PIE, and a glass of wine. Seriously, have the pie!

Liza P: Cool coffee shop in a really sweet and unexpected courtyard. Great place to stop for a cappuccino while wandering in Mitte.

Liza P: Bones, minerals, taxidermy, succulents, all sorts of weird things your little heart desires. Personal favorite finds - a coyote vertebrae and a piece of bismuth.

Liza P: Delicious hipster coffee! Great place to walk to while waiting for your brunch reservation at Mission Beach Cafe.

Liza P: Great for late night cocktails and snacks. Sit at the common table, order a bourbon blue bottle cocktail, and a flatbread. Don't skip dessert!

Liza P: Amazing sweet bread, and very tasty traditional German breakfast. Try the mixed breakfast, have it outside on a warm day.

Liza P: Really hip, cheap hotel. Tiny simple rooms, but right in the epicenter. Walking distant to so many cool places!

Liza P: My favorite burritos! I don't care what anyone says about authenticity - the plantain burrito is absolutely amazing. And oh my, the salsa bar...

Liza P: Super chill place on the water, with good music and awesome atmosphere. My favorite in the late afternoon or after 4am.

Liza P: Great wine! Ask Johnny for a recommendation and take a small plate of antipasti!

Liza P: Really tasty, but heavy. This is NOT a California burrito full of fresh vegetables - expect just meat, cheese and salsa in a fried shell.

Liza P: One of my favorite wine bars in the city! Get a bottle and a few cheeses, and have a fantastic end (or start) to your night!

Liza P: Killer challah! The best ever! I don't think I would stop eating it if I could... I would just eat it until I wouldn't fit through the door.

Liza P: Ignore the naysayers! The toast is incredible - get the walnut bread with almond butter, honey and sea salt.
