The Som Tam (Papaya Salad) is really good here.
The Thali's are well-sized and the staff friendly.
Decent bar at the edge of the CBD - rooftop bar has a chilled vibe and nice evening view. Also on the plus side: generous portions for any snack/special.
Australian Movie Vouchers are accepted for any show that has been on for longer than 10 days.
Toilets are located at the south end next to the rock pool and the north end next to the surf club.
Mostly all the private cruises and whale watching trips go from here. Very touristy.
Dimly lit "food court", not the most comfy. Food is decent however relatively pricey.
Asian desserts at its best. If you've never had any, don't let yourself be fooled by beans or potatoes, just do it!
Super crowded as usual, but brilliant vibe and lots of neat little shops and stages.
Quirky location at the end of Paddy's market - decent prices, food is hit and miss though.
Nice location in the heart of the CBD - quite loud music at times, so not the place for extensive dialogs, but a lot of fun.
"Underground" bar - you wouldn't know it existed if there wasn't a bouncer outside. Nice beer and an amazing selection of spirits.
Less furniture than Lunatiques, more for the small things.
Good vibes and a high chance of finding something beautiful :)
OK breakfast, reasonably clean, friendly service, however quite old and not the best price/value I've ever seen. Mostly coach parties seem to stay here.
The som tam (papaya salad) is quite original. Beware of you don't do spicy though.
Haggis, neeps and tatties are quite original.
