The old machines are fun to play, especially the more bizarre ones from back in the 60’s. However the modern pinball machines they have here are actually the most fun!
Beautiful and large park to get some fresh air in Bucharest. Lots of festivals and events are held here as well, Bucureşti’s Central Park!
This place is fun! Come on nice afternoons and sit outside and get some BBQ and some beers.
The Dracula angle is all marketing FYI, if you can get over that though you will find beautiful views and an interesting history.
A long and intriguing history surrounds this place, well worth it to get a guide who can get into a lot of the intricacies.
These folks are doing very noble work. They have to feed the bears 2 tons of food everyday so please buy something or donate in the gift shop to help!
Arrivals are very chaotic when a flight arrives, other than that though this is an easy to navigate airport with a decent amount of services. Use the taxi request machine though before getting a taxi!
Not as nice and luxurious as some other Sofitel properties, but as the only hotel near the airport, the location can’t be beat if you have an early flight out.
This is a nice touch to get a taste of history in Athens if you are the airport.
The bartenders here are pretty good so don’t be afraid to let them choose a cocktail for you off menus. Also be sure to get a hookah while sitting outside.
Beautiful yes, lots of vendors and donkey/camel sellers though can temper the experience unfortunately.
The wings are really small compared to North American standard and that’s a good thing, much more tender!
Lovely place with awesome views, especially at sunset. One thing though is lots of flies because of the fertilizer used in the Jordan River Valley, problem everywhere around here though.
