Naveen & I built 1/2 of the foursquare prototype here (mostly at the back table near the bathroom). The "mayor" feature in 4SQ came from our buddy Chad making fun of us for camping at that table :)

There's nothing on the menu that I wouldn't recommend, but the burnt ends are a must and the brisket needs no barbecue sauce it's that moist.
Baked Mac and Cheese was awesome, and the BBQ chicken was finger licking good, had it twice in the same night.
The mac n cheese is amazing here. Great place to go and pig out. Drinks are good and great atmosphere.
Pastrami is INSANE. Something everyone must try once in their life, even if only visiting NYC, and especially if living here.
All the starters are worth ordering but if you had to pick, I'd go with the conch fritters and jerk ribs. Crispy shark sandwich is meaty and juicy. Cool back garden for your summer delight!
Went for an anniversary dinner and liked it. Went again with another couple and absolutely loved all 5 hours, including a kitchen tour. Food goes without saying, but the service is out of this world.
Best steakhouse in NYC. the porterhouse is the way to go. Don't miss the bacon appetizer. if you're lucky enough to go for lunch, get the burger. It's made from their dry-aged beef and it's only $12!
Great Japanese comfort food. Gluten-free friendly b/c they use rice starch instead of wheat flour in many of their dishes: chicken tatsuta & home made tofu. Delish! :)
The biscuits are divine. Great place to share a bunch of items on the menu. Best part is this place isn't super packed.
As a fan of brunch and Japanese food, this place is a dream come true. The udon noodles are some of the tastiest I've ever had, and the chicken meatballs are incredible. The atmosphere is adorable.
Happy hour before 7, come by 5 to get a table on the patio. Margs are legendary.
La Paloma and la flaca are the best margaritas on the menu. Try the pomegranate guacamole as well!
SO. GOOD. Margaritas are especially excellent. Small place, but they serve you quickly.
Breakfast sandwiches are basically sausage/bacon burgers...so basically awesome. Plus you can get stumptown cold brew here!
The med egg is fabulous indeed. And so is everything else on the breakfast list. Do try it out for a lovely breakfast (*˘︶˘*)
Awesome new rooftop with relatively cheap beer and great views of NYC. Get there right at 4pm when they open or be prepared to wait in line.
Perfect Saturday afternoon: half pours of microbrews made there, awesome outdoor patio, and then eat at their well curated guest chefs (like Roberta's and now Taquerilla Nixtemal).
The vibe is what I imagine a below-deck speakeasy on board a Gilded Era cruise ship was like.

Awesome bar staff who know what they're doing. They started happy hour at St. Marks Pl. with $4 drafts and $7 cocktails on weekdays till 8 and weekend till 5. Best place to sit outside in the area!
Super delicious and creative ice cream, like Ben & Jerry's upgraded to first class. Bourbon Street and Sweet as Honey were great.
try the tuna wrap or the chipotle chicken wrap. both are delicious, light but filling lunch options. wash 'em down with a fresh squeezed carrot-apple juice. $17 for wrap+juice.
The most generous avocado toast. Fast friendly service, healthy food, trendy place. Everything is amazing and well thought through. Recommend 👍
