Awesome beer selection, wings, happy hour, and service. If anything in this touristy part of town can be called a neighborhood joint, this is as close as it gets.

The XXX hot wings are so hot that they make you sign a waiver. I broke into a sweat and the stuff is a painful experience. You can't taste anything but pain. Do it. You will remember the moment!

A very busy venue! U will need to wait if ur in group. The menu is good for a Sports Bar. Try the Ponchos chicken wings - tasty as!! The Ribs were not gr8. Free Wifi avail.

Had three types of wings, all awesome! They'll do half and half baskets of 8 wings. Many cider choices if anyone happens to be gluten free. Service was awesome and the waiter gave great suggestions.

The September special of maple bacon wings is surprisingly delicious! Not too sweet at all! And the blue cheese dressing for the side also somehow works. Food is amazing.

Get the Sloppy Pig! It's pulled pork, brisket & smoked chicken in Jake's famous BBQ sauce, topped with cheddar cheese & crispy onions. For beer, I had the Ridgeway IPA. They rotate taps though.

Far and away the best buffalo wings I've had in Chicago. That said, I didn't find the "spicy" very spicy. I'll have to go hotter next time.

I'm sure for anyone who hasn't grown up in Western NY, these wings are great. But if you've had the real deal, you'll find these near inedible. Soggy breading, under-fried and slimy. Gross.

I know, I can't stop talking about the XXX wings. I can't even stop thinking about them, because they're so addicting! Whenever I want wings, I want XXX! Wings everywhere else pale in comparison.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. Good selection of more than 20 beers on tap. Food is ok, but the outdoor patio is what makes Jake's special.

Impressively solid bar food, albeit with River North prices. The great craft beer list makes up for it.

The service is excellent! The food is also "top shelf". April the bartender is vey knowledgable in the "craft beer" selections. We'll be back!

The October mac daddy mac n' cheese : "buffalo mac" is beyond delicious!! Highly recommend it if your looking for a little bit of spicy!

They rave about having the "best wings in Chicago", but they were only good, not great. Came with way too much sauce. It was cool that they allowed you to mix and match styles though.

El típico bar de colonia, tardan un poco en asignarte mesa aunque tengan disponibles pero dentro los meseros se aplican, lugar para pedir nachos, alitas, cerveza y escuchar buena música.

Ask to substitute pulled pork for the Bbq chicken on their pizza. Frickin amazing.
