- Huge store with tons of stock and great prices. It's hard to go with a list and be sure that they'll have what you need.
- Elise PoulainAugust 16, 2013Best 99cent store in NY and maybe in the USA. I love 99 cents stores and this is my favorite by far. Great for cleaning products and little gifts. The NuPore make up remover towelettes are the BEST!
- Lonely TAugust 9, 2013Left your umbrella at home? This is the best place to get a cheap replacement. Located on the 2nd floor.
- It's not all 9 - cents, sometimes more, sometimes less, but everything is inexpensive on the first floor. The more expensive stuff upstairs isn't always as good a deal.
- Courtney HinesAugust 5, 2013The best dollar store I've ever been too, & it was pretty organized too. Some great finds!
- Riqui LawrenceDezember 18, 2017Brand teas with hard to find blends, inexpensive & usually well crafted overstock household items that aren't used constantly.
- Village VoiceNovember 21, 2011Winner of Best 99-Cent Store in the Village Voice 2011 Best Of issue! Knock-off household products work just as well and are usually under $1.
- Brad RenatoAugust 14, 2013Existe muito produto de baixa qualidade, mais você tem vários itens bons e baratos que podem ajudar nos dias em New York
- Jen KrawczykAugust 20, 2010The food items on the 1st floor change daily and you can get some amazing deals. Don't come here if you're having a bad day, it's always full of very pushy people and there are long lines to cash out.
- this place has everything. but the stock constantly changes so if it is there one day dont expect it to be there another day.
- You sort of trade fast and friendly service for some of the best deals ever. It's worth it though.
- Thiru Selvan SathiamoorthyApril 24, 2012Shop all the way to the 3rd floor and checkout there! Much faster
- Gwen MayoJuly 18, 2011Great place for a quick beverage or snack. Also, check out the Jack's world. They have great deals!
- Almando PerezSeptember 13, 2017It is well Organized 99 cent store... Never saw that before... And they restock
- Pure hell at Xmas time! But can b worth it
- Just can’t buy “one” thing! So many bargains!
- Emily DMärz 2, 2012Expect a crowd. Lines on second floor are relatively shorter. Canning jar for 99 cents? Don't mind if I do!
- Christina ChinDezember 11, 2021I use to like this place but not really a discount store much..def not a 99c store anymore and can find stuff cheaper at normal retailers/drugstore
- Unfortunately only 1 floor available now. Shame. It used to be 3 floors and plenty of merch. Overpriced stuff now. Better off going to the drugstore or an actual 99 cent store.
- DJ BetancourtSeptember 11, 2013Fun game to try. Go into Jacks with friends all looking to buy one item. Have everyone ask a different employee where that item is located. See how many different locations in the store u r sent to
- People in line taking a trillion n one years to search for exact change will make u want to stab someone in the base of the neck with... Idk... something sharp.
- Although this location has 3 levels, it's always packed. I like the 40th Street location, it's less crowded. :)
- long lines right before/during lunch time,. Listen to the unintentionally funny announcements they often make my day.
- BettieDezember 8, 2012The cashiers here are terrible. Also, if you need help looking for something they will point you in its general direction and not help, even if no one's on line (referring to 2nd & 3rd floors only)
- stick around long enough to hear the unintentionally amusing announcements, they are priceless
- Charles WintersMai 19, 2010Don't expect a quick trip in and out. These cashiers are the slowest (and meanest) people alive!
