We loved this place and went back a few times. This staff was so friendly. Get the mushrooms, foie gras, and sirloin (solomillo). Try txakoli (pronounced choco-lee) traditional sparkling wine.
Don't just eat what's on the counter, order from the chalkboard menu on the wall. The solomillo (sirloin on baguette with a pepper) is the best pinxto you'll ever eat.

Hands down... the solomilloPintxos is the #1 item on the menu. For the more adventurous, try the sea urchin. Order off the menu if you can. It's always busy and for a good reason!
Everything was exceptional. The service, the food... The special salad was magnificent on its own. The txuleta well done and the initial pintxos surprisingly different and fresh. Will be back!
Tasty food & great service. High 5 to Jose, he rocked. Loved the grilled beefsirloin, grilled foie gras & Iberian cured hamcroquette. Thought the duck breast brochette was over done and over priced
It took me 3 trips till I found their true speciality: the little pintxos with bread, Jamon and 3 mushrooms with sauce all over it. GODDAMN THATS GOOD 🍄
Местечко супер! В меню все что взяли очень вкусно: рыбный суп, рыба rape, креветки в чесноке и десерты. Тапас в баре не пробовали, но выглядят они очень аппетитно.
Bueno, todo. Malo, nada. Álvaro (en barra) es Dios, el mejor servicio (compartido con otros) de San Sebastián. Para volver una y mil veces. Y, claro, volveré.
This was my least favorite from the 8 tapas bars we visited. The food was uninspiring and so so. I don’t know why they have very high ratings actually. Go next door to Atari instead.
