The main beach on this stretch of the Copper Coast. There are shops, car parking,caravan parks & facilities for those visiting the beach.
Stradbally Cove is about 200 metres west of the village. The beach narrow at the the start but long and very flat . This can catch people out when the tide comes in. No facilities,loved by families.
A small cove off a side road from R675 between Clonea & Stradbally. It’s tidal and there are no facilities on site. Used by those who wish for peace & quiet.
A small beach next to the road with good parking, tends to be crowded in good sunny weather.
Nice small beach , especially when the tide is out. It is not commercialised as no shop within walking distance .
Lovely quiet place, at least when I visited in the afternoon , relaxing with a drink or a snack , watching the ferries & yachts come & go.
Located on the waterfront, it’s a great place to enjoy food or a drink and watch the world go by.
Have been here before on Rugby International Days, great meet up place. Today I sampled their full Irish which went down well.
It might sound silly but looks better from afar. The scope of the site can then be appreciated.
History stretching back to the medieval time with some buildings dating back to 1415.Also, a Sheela Na Gig left by the wall builders starring down at us.
