- Spar TecAugust 9, 2013If you're renting a car, be prepared for a HIKE to the rental car center. There is no a rental car shuttle nor tram. Closer to terminal D; much further away from terminal A/B (Southwest @ AirTran).

- Ricardo HernandezApril 15, 2016Small airport. Security is a breeze. Make sure to bring your lunch, not a lot of food options.
- For long term parking, skip the airport and go to an off-site lot like US Park. Much cheaper, Great service and a quick free shuttle ride away.
- Christopher LongOktober 25, 2014The airport feels small for the size of the city it serves and the number of tourists it hosts. The best part of the airport is the free WiFi. Also, it's not far from downtown.
- Airport is easy to get around. Good selection of food in most gates. Not a bad drive if you live in the Baton Rouge area.
- Patricia NguyenJuni 2, 2013Lobby of C and D terminal has waiting spaces that have USB and regular outlets if you want to charge up. From what I can see the chairs at the gate in terminal d have outlets as well.
- Eric OJanuar 28, 2016Be sure to find the giant statue of Louis Armstrong, famous jazz trumpeter and New Orleans International Airport namesake!
- New airport doesn’t have any restaurants prior to entering the gate. If you planned on arriving early and sitting down bring a snack. The gate area doesn’t have much seating, or charge stations.
- Jen PDezember 15, 2022Grab a taxi instead of an Uber. It’s a flat rate of $36 vs prices in the $70s.
- The new airport is incredible. Checkin is on 3rd floor, security on 2nd, and baggage claim on 1st. Download the myTSA app to check security wait times.

- Racky RossJuly 25, 2015Wi-fi is definitely better than any new york airport! Love the laid back atmosphere, it's helping me recover from my hangover.
- New Terminals opening - very close to Downtown. Average non commute drive 18-25 minutes. 35-40 in height of commute.
- Danielle GrayJuly 4, 2012The Airport Shuttle is totally the way to get to your hotel from the airport. One way ticket is $20, RT $30. Cabs are approx $34 o/w. Buy ticket online or at kiosk by baggage claim
- Jeremy ElrodNovember 23, 2012If you need to ship something home, go to "Rush It" on the baggage concourse. They'll ship whatever you need, including a pocket knife I forgot to put in my checked bag.
- Rochelle SimonFebruar 29, 2016Please don't use those bathrooms. It doesn't seem to be cleaned very often. And there are only about 3 stalls(maybe 4 stalls) In the women's bathroom. The sink is opposite side of the towel paper!

- James McGeeJuly 24, 2011Gettin out of the heat to San Diego?? Stop by Ruth's Chris Steak House on Harbor Dr. Serving sizzling USDA Prime Steaks every night right across from the Bay!! Let the Good Times Roll!!
- James GottJuni 14, 2013This airport is laid out perfectly for the business traveler. Expedited lines for business/first people makes it a painless experience.
- Terminal D is really nice and Wow Cafe has a great veggie burger. So stupid they're wasting tax payer money to build a new airport.
- Welcome to Louisiana! Grab a daiquiris at the drive-thru daiquiris shop a block away. Enjoy your stay!
- GinnyOktober 28, 2013Plan to wait about 30 minutes at security if you have a morning flight, unless you are fortunate to have a priority or tsa pre-check. Add 10-15 for printing boarding passes and dropping off luggage.
- Sagar JhobaliaNovember 28, 2016Get some raw cash. Not all delicious places in the city accept plastic currency
- Small airport, TSA line can be long early in morning, do not open exclusive line for premiere flyers at all times (if ever), despite being marked.
- Nice small airport. Could use some upgrades, but is easy to navigate.
- Marvin McTawMai 7, 2017Simple airport to navigate and quick enough to get to the terminal and gate. Look forward to the expansion underway.
- Depending on your flight, you can get through TSA fairly quickly. TSAPrecheck is the best!
- Terminal D has plenty of food and drink now!! Come on in and enjoy the new amenities. Could use a few clocks scattered around so I know what time it is!!
- Staying near the action? Take the E2 (bus) for only $2 then transfer to the streetcar. A "jazzy pass"it's only $3 to ride all day!
- Beware if you are renting a car. Rental area is 30 min away! The busses travel on public roads and are very far away from the main terminal. You get dropped off at arrivals, not departures. 🤬
- David Orland BrownMärz 6, 2012Small airport but very friendly staff. You won't find free WiFi at any other airports, either. $33 cab ride from the French Quarter. NOLA!
- Easy to get in and out of, but the food options are lacking once you're inside.
- Security lines can be surprisingly long, especially after a heavy-tourist weekend. Don’t underestimate wait times.
- Emily CorleyNovember 20, 2013wow, the people here must hate their jobs because they are absolutely miserable, esp at ticketing and security. if you don't want to deal with a lot of people, prob shouldn't work at a busy airport.
- Kelly BolyardFebruar 20, 2013Zatarain's scrambled eggs and dirty rice is amazing. The biscuit is just like geamdma's! Concourse B by gate 5
- Make sure you check the departure screen right after security otherwise you're walking all the way to the end of the terminal to find out what gate you need.
- There is just No Place like NOLA! Experience It! Breath It! Fall In Love With It!
- Noel N.April 18, 2013Cheesy grits at Cheesecake Scoop Cafe in Terminal D are better than any grits I've had back home up North.
- A small airport with improvements on the way... but at the current time there are underwhelming eateries and shops, and the inside is pretty bland and borderline ugly. Needs modernization ASAP!!
- Jonathon TaylorJanuar 10, 2022Very spacious and clean. Don’t be fooled by the ongoing construction outside
