It's now just Flore! New owners and much better menu!!! If you stopped going because old chef had a stupid menu try it now! New owners brought back a lot of the old menu!

My favorite. I came here daily when I first moved to SF. The kitchen does an incredible job in a small space, bar offerings are vast, seating in generous outside and in. DJs spin on weekend nights.
The service, which is ALWAYS friendly, can be spotty or chaotic, and they’ve gone through MANY iterations of how to order, but the latest re-do seems to be working! And you can’t beat the setting.

the whipped cream that you can get on drinks and pies is made fresh daily!!! and the cafe flore eggs benedict are poached eggs on corn bread! whaaaat?! SO GOOD!
The plate for the Steak and Eggs is too small, making it treacherous to eat. Otherwise, delicious ;-)
Talk about a great place to wind down, read a book, surf the net or people watch. Food is pretty good too!

They recently switched from counter service to table service, which is a bit frustrating since it's no longer possible to grab a quick lunch. :(

Live music for ladies' night! Dina Rao is amazing!
Justin Timbercake and the Flank Steak Salad- They don't fry their fries in oil that's touched meat or dairy and they identify everything vegan on their menu. Some things they can/will easily amend.
Grab the outdoor table right on the corner of Market & Noe. Best spot for people watching.

Behind the bar, Bea and Pink are HILARIOUS, and provide great service.

Nick WoodAugust 10, 2014Friendly staff, good service, and great food. The restroom was clean and we'll maintained. They give you a bucket of coffee and generously refill it. My new favorite breakfast spot in SF.👍
Place has gone downhill. Haven't been back in a few months tho...so who knows. Could really use a cleaning to get rid of those fruit flies!
