Joe N. • Februar 4, 2019Three newly renovated rooms just opened [January 2019] a riot of color, incredible attention to detail. Excellent tour guides. I’m a local & NR is my ‘go to’ when my ‘snowbird’ pals visit Charleston
Beth B. • September 27, 2019Great tour. Very reasonable. Gives excellent perspective on Colony, Revolutionary, and pre-Antebellum history.
Jennifer G. • April 29, 2016If you like architecture, this is a wonderful tour. You can take all of the photographs that you like which is a plus! There is no furniture iside the home; this is an unrestored plantation house.
Brandon R. • April 11, 2018Wonderful historic house preserved as it was from hundreds of years ago. A unique look back in time.
Charming Inns of Charleston • Januar 23, 2013We love the Charleston Museum! Such a gem. Their locally-focused exhibits are always fun and amazing.
Erin O. • July 15, 2013We enjoyed our walk through the museum. Lots of different styles of artwork and a beautiful building to host it all in.
Charming Inns of Charleston • Januar 23, 2013Two words: spiral staircase. And one more word: BEAUTIFUL! A must-see for architecture lovers.
John L. • August 6, 2014ACM reciprocal! Small but my boys (5 & 3) love every inch. Castle and Pirate ship are the highlights for them but the painting and craft area are also very nice.
Debbie C. • July 30, 2013Very interesting. Our tour guide Stephan was terrific - he shared a lot of fascinating history within a brief 30 minute tour. Don't miss the exhibits on the top and main floors.
Travel + Leisure • Oktober 7, 2014The small museum on the College of Charleston’s campus is a welcome addition to the city’s art scene. Past exhibits have included American artists Jasper Johns and Shepard Fairey.
George W. • November 28, 2012Great shops. A bit overpriced compared to other similar shops in the city.
Justin D. • März 20, 2013If your visiting Charleston and a history fan you need to stop by here, a little building with a lot of history, and there are some objects you can touch and hold. $3 for adults $1 for a student
Corley S. • Juni 9, 2022Considering the history, i think this museum could have been more engaging. That said, entry is relatively cheap so worth it to get a quick overview of the role Charleston played during slavery.
Nancy M. • Oktober 30, 2018We liked Fort Sumter, it was very educational. Try going the last boat of the day. They lower the American flag and the commentary is quite interesting. We also loved the boat ride back and forth.
Jon • Mai 29, 2017Small but quite an interesting room filled with historical facts about postal services in Charleston.
Todd S. • Juni 22, 2020This is the neatest place for young and old. A great addition to the mall and one of its best assets. Very educational and fun for all! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
C-SPAN • Juni 11, 2014Built in 1894, Waring Historical Library was originally known as Hoffman Library. For more info check out this C-SPAN video.
Mary Catherine J. • July 2, 2019Take the ghost tour before the building gets turned into office space. It’s a shame it’s not preserved & treated like the awesome historical landmark that it is. It should be office space.
NASA • Januar 11, 2011The Hall of Science & Math was involved in a NASA research initiative looking at science education materials to find & create more effective ways to engage students with disabilities in space studies.
