Old school Little Italy style. Great red sauce Italian. The caprese is delicious, as was our veal Milanese. Wasn't blown away by the bolognese. A bit undersauced for my steez
“One of the last restaurants that clearly references the past of Nolita/SoHo—where rock stars, actors, and old-school Italianos gathered for linguineVongole and veal Milanese.” - Matt Rodbard Mehr erfahren
A small, sleepy, old-school restaurant. Walls w/ framed album covers and snapshots of pop stars. The restaurateur (Mr. Vitolo) is straight out of a film noir. Fettuccine Alla Amatriciana is excellent.
I was thoroughly impressed. From the outside you'd never ever know. Inside is the coziest old school restaurant with top notch service. And the food... Mind blown. I hear it's Rihanna's favorite too.
The clubby Italian restaurant that's for everyone. The dining room looks like something out of an old Martin Scorsese film and the red sauce fare is cooked with care. Make sure to get the bolognese. Mehr erfahren
Best meatball, chicken parm and tiramisu I’ve ever had!! Truly the best spot in nyc for comfort Italian food. No reservations so recommend going early!
The absolute best kept secret in NYC. The alla amatriciana sauce is so delicious that you might want to throw a straw in your purse to slurp up every drop.
Excellent hidden gem in Nolita. As authentic as it gets. Pastas are all great as is the Caesar with anchovies. The type of establishment you feel great supporting
Try the Pasta With Tomato Sauce, Meatball, Beef And Sausage - Excellent. The pasta was perfectly Al Dente. The beef was tender. The sausage great. And the meatballs tasty as usual.
Food is good! Service is to be desired. I flew here from Texas twice & I have been treated terribly. I’m not sure if it’s a black or white thing, but I won’t suffer through that again.
