I went at night, and it wasn't crowded. But I think I'd prefer a day trip to really get the full experience. You can't really see the "blue" part at night.

Great little hotel. As of Nov 16th, 2015, there was a ton of construction next door. But as long as you don't plan on sleeping during the day, it's not a big deal.
