The stuffed and fried squash blossoms are outta control delicious. (Especially with a glass of the Pigato.) And they're lightly battered in rice flour so they're totally gluten free THANK YOU!
Not hard to get a spot, even on a busy night! The food menu is decent and service is quick, which means it's easy to spend a few hours working through their wine list.
The seared scallops are amazing. Little delicious roeeggs explode in your mouth, all on a delicious fresh flavor sauce of oranges and squash maybe, a hint of spice, flavor explosion! So fresh.
If 'Cheers' had been set in SF, this would have been the bar. Classic local's spot w/ better-than-you'd-expect food. Opt for a whole bottle and just try not to order the fries, I dare you.
Incredible ambience, wine and food. The Stoller Pinot Noir is great, fiancee enjoyed the Lucifer beer and the Napoli pizzetta and cheese plate were great. No complaints here.
positives: atmosphere was super cute, wine was nummy. Negatives: The $1 oysters for happy hour tasted like what I would think poop may taste like and I LOVE oysters. Pizza had no flavor + $$$$$$$$
The meatballs may have crack sprinkled on them, according to the waiter - they're that addictive. The arancini are awesome. For wine, Tuilerie is pretty great too.
