Try the hotdogs. They're made on site from high quality meat. They have that perfect "snap" when you bite into them. Also, I strongly recommend getting them topped w chow-chow. Yum

The best place to buy quality locally sourced meat. great sandwiches (ham and cheese, roast beef, Italian combo), roast chicken, and AMAZING housemade hot dogs.

Locally sourced organic beef, lamb, pork, goat and poultry are all sold at Dickson’s. Regulars get a punch card that lets you get deals once you’ve bought an entire pig or cow.

If you haven't added this place to your todo list, you should. Great lunch options and the best beef jerky in the area (chili jerky is better than the salt and pepper)

Ask for slices of ham, roast beef, etc. and get baguetinnies across the way at Amy's (ask for some butter too) for an affordable, quick lunch you can enjoy up at High Line.

The hot dog is frankly the best. 😏 oh and get the Italian sandwich too! It’s kinda like a Cuban sandwich but Italian.

Looks like everyone is getting a hot dog here, but TAKE STEAK SANDWICH OR SLOPPY ITALIAN SANDWICH. They are much better value and sooo good.

Tasso ham & Andouille sausage are made in-house (great for jambalaya). Their bacon is smoky & delicious too. Best butcher in Manhattan for locally sourced humanely raised meat. I'm a fan.

the roast beef sandwich is fantastic, but a bit on the small side. grab a bag of chips or some house-made jerky to help fill you up (hey, who says you can't have a side of meat with your meat?)

Vegetarians beware: the dark side beckons. Along with some of the best cuts and sausages in town, this place makes sandwiches that are so good it's almost offensive. The roast beef is a miracle.
