Daan V.: Falafel sandwich for $3 is the best budget meal in Williamsburg, and if you feel like a baller - get the humus for $0.50 extra.

Daan V.: I love the jalapeno tofu spread. Get it on a toasted bagel.

Daan V.: When in doubt, go for one of the more basic pizzas like the margarita. The authentic wood fired oven and the premium ingredients will make it worth it.

Daan V.: Almost every arepa can be ordered with the meat or cheese substituted for baked tofu.

Daan V.: The Mash topping makes for a great afternoon snack. Spicy ketchup and mustard with crushed potato chips. Recommended!

Daan V.: First time? Try the Vegan Slam for brunch!

Daan V.: Creative Salads indeed! The Santa Fe (avocado, tomato, corn, fried unions) with the cheese replaced for tortilla chips is a great and filling lunch.

Daan V.: Get the falafel smoothie

Daan V.: Just around the corner from our office, Sullivan Street Bakery is the ultimate spot to get a quick and delicious lunch. Their flatbread pizzas are amazing, especially the potato and funghi ones.

Daan V.: Their Darma Initiative banner might almost be better than their vegan slices. Almost.

Daan V.: They have a vegan slice called the 'Earth Mother'. Sound Birckenstock-ish, but it's really good. Whole wheat crust and lots of veggies.

Daan V.: Great falafel for just 2.50. Be sure to be careful with the spice sauce or enjoy the notoriously famous 'Mamoun's After party'.

Daan V.: Now with brown rice to make it an even healthier fast food choice.

Daan V.: Excellent food and drinks, but the real gem is the downstairs (hidden) restaurant and bar. After 6pm, ask the guy who is sitting in front of the door if he will let you in.

Daan V.: Out of the pizzes, the mushroom one is my favorite: ground mushroom with freshly grilled sweet peppers and zucchini. Perfect!

Daan V.: I love the tempura sweet potato rolls. So what it's just sweet potato fries with rice ;)

Daan V.: Try the Bavette Cacio e Pepe. It is just perfect - I could eat it every day.

Daan V.: It's small, it's cozy, it has great food and affordable. What else do you need from a neighborhood restaurant? The go to place for when I have friends from back home coming over. Amazing gnocchi.

Daan V.: Two words: Greco Sandwich. Do it.

Rachael Knudsen: Best guacamole this Texan has had in NY!

Daan V.: Sweet potato fries with wasabi mayo. Best ever.

Daan V.: I have stopped eating Indian food after a couple of bad experiences in both Istanbul and Amsterdam, but this is unlike any Indian food I've ever had. Don't go here for a dim lit dinner though.

The Corcoran Group: Enjoy delicious Mexican food, and AMAZING Margaritas with a really cool crowd of people and fun waitstaff.
