Cool shop place in refurbished Nabisco bakery with restaurants, stores, craft shops and grocery.. Check out the original building metal etchings on the walls to see the history.

This place is a fun European-Style Market that has tons of artisan foods and local shops. While I love supporting the neighborhood businesses, this place is always crowded with tourists. Go early.

Matt AtkinsonMärz 14, 2014Ok, someone recommended hale and hearty... Seriously? num pang sandwich shop is excellent and Los Tacos No 1 is probably the best in NYC. Hale and hearty is decent but there are locations everywhere.
If you visit this market, go to the lobster place. They have great lobster rolls that come with chips and cole slaw. You can get this on the go and head over to the high line. Enjoy!
