- Dave HFebruar 19, 2014This park has an amazing array of hiking and driving. The scenary is maginificant. And its not heavily visited. I was just there in February and there was almost no one in the park.
- Char AsisJuni 28, 2013This is a beautiful park. Because it's less popular, it's quiet and peaceful. (No obnoxious tourists!) Campgrounds look great; most spots are shaded. Driving the unpaved roads are worth it!
- eric bornemannJuly 6, 2022Unsung national park that is less crowded then the other Utah parks. If you have 4 wheel drive do go up to Cathedral Valley to get a whole other POV of the park. Spend at least 2 to 3 days here.
- Alan ChristensenMai 2, 2013Stop in Torrey, if you are coming from the north, to eat! No dinner options in park! Stop at Gifford's house down street from visitor's center to get pie & favorite canned fruit preserves!
- michael yangJuni 15, 2012If you have the time, the Strike Valley Overlook deep in the south end of the park is amazing. The drive there from Boulder on the Burr Trail is especially scenic.
- Matt AffolterNovember 5, 2011A vastly underrated national park. Very cool trails and scenery, plus a working orchard and fruit pie. Make sure to do the scenic drive.
- Pamela D.Juni 27, 2013If open, drive the Grand Wash and Capitol Gorge unpaved roads - you drive in between the rocks and it's bad ass. Very underrated national park!
- Carlos AraujoAugust 17, 2016Trails that are more demanding/difficult, however landscape compensates by far all the efforts.
- Daniel GeMai 14, 2012If you're not willing to go on any of the unpaved roads, you will be disappointed. Spend at least half a day here.
- Penny (York) RossJuly 18, 2010Nice wooded sites. Fresh pick-yourself fruit. The home made ice cream is amazing.
- Roger NorfleetNovember 2, 2011The last .5 of the Cassidy Arch trail is poorly marked, so be prepared.
- Edward HomickMai 27, 2013By far the most disappointing / less scenic of the 5 Utah national parks. Don't waste time going out of your way for here, instead go to arches, canyonlands, or Bryce Canyon, much more scenic NPs
